Sometime ago, a friend of mine posted a galaxy-inspired cake. So beautiful, I added the cafe into my To-Go List.
It was a Monday. My friends had no idea where I am leading them. Upon arrival, they were wowed by the cakes.
Before cakes, we had the drinks & main course for lunch. Iced Tea – Twillight (Purple drink) is a popular drink.
However, the lavender was bit too raw & overwhelming for me.
The cakes were pretty and mini in real. We didn't finish them despite there were 4 of us.
Best order in terms of taste, Nutellalatte.
Being working mum, I just want to dash back home to my kids after work. Me-time or spa time is pretty much history or have come become rare to me. Used to do regular groceries shopping with Bret until I tried Red Mart. I appreciated the convenience of clicking and have my groceries delivered to home. Goodbye to days where I have to carry the heavy duty items like rice, milk powder or detergents & etc
Last afternoon, my Red Mart order was delivered. One of the item, Viennetta Ice Cream.
The Color of the box goes so well with Le Creuset Cool Mint stoneware. I will always remember the commercial I watched when I was a kid. Through the commercial, I learnt the concept of luxury. Successful commercial.
Beautiful curls… Bret loves peppermint and our first time trying. Minty and Super cool.
Sunday a day to relax at home.
The night before I asked my helper to prepare mango pudding dessert.
Sweet moment on a rainy afternoon…”
Love dessert in pastel Le cresuet.
Leia loves jelly, so am I. Our sweet treat after dinner…
Le Creuset at home makes my girl & I happy.
When Bret collected my birthday cake, we brought home a piece of cake. Super Glad we did! The butter icing and Nutella fillings tasted wonderful. Most rainbow cakes out there have been disappointing but this one here is a piece of heaven. Bret, Leia and myself were having a moment of dessert indulgence. Within minutes, we finished the rainbow cake. Yummy dessert.
Cousin Evan returned from her girls trip to Bangkok. I was introduced Candy Crepes bought from Bangkok. Apparently it’s very popular in Bangkok & among local socialites too.
Comes with crepes. You may Google about it… For me, it was sugar overload otherwise very beautiful to look at!
My baby boy has sweet tooth and says no to bitter herbal soup. The exact opposite of me. From young, I always love herbal soup but now I have a hard time finishing a bowl. On the contrast, Desserts and Cakes never excite me until Now… 6 months, 2nd pregnancy. I told Bret.. must be his DNA.
So one fine day I was exploring Instagram pictures then I spotted the most beautiful floral cream cakes from My Sister Bakes. Fascinated by the designs I showed Bret and he was impressed too. Craving for the cakes came strong, I was determined to try out their cakes which were only available for takeaway during weekends.
Bret always like a Super laidback weekend and food hunt ain’t his thing. Knowing he would anything do for his little ones, I motivated him “Baby wants to eat. I have never like cakes, you know it.”
So here we are for the first time!
Situated at a quiet MacPherson Neighbourhood, it not difficult to find. The cakes looked enticing and I chose After Eight & Earl Grey.
During tea time at home, Bret and I had a taste of our cakes. When we opened the boxes, the cakes were lying down. !
Fillings look neat and promising. Taste wise, moist and flavourful. He is a fan of peppermint & chocolate while I am into tea. I could taste earl grey in every bite. Wonderful!
I am a cream cake lover, My Sister Bakes is currently top on my list for cakes.
