We asked Bret’s colleague for Chinese Restaurant reccomendation and London Fat Duck came into his mind. He told us the duck was good so we decided to try it out over weekend.
“A Hong Kong-style restaurant called London Fat Duck, serving roast duck like the ones made famous by restaurants such as Four Seasons and Gold Mine in Bayswater, London. Using the best Irish Duck famous for its quality, we call is “Wagyu of Ducks”. Enhanced with our Hong Kong chef’s secret duck roasting technique and heritage recipe. Not only roasting of ducks, London Fat Duck also features Dim Sum, Hong Kong style Wanton Noodles, Lobster Noodles and many other Hong Kong comfort food.”
One of the reason I like roast duck is the cripsy, flavoured skin and London Fat Duck did quite a splendid job hence the crowd. We arrived just before lunch else we would be in the long queue. The duck we had was really fat though and noodles on the saltier side. I love roast duck so if I am nearby, I would be back.
One of the Signature dish, Black Pepper Duck Bun

The outer layer was sweet and tasty, reminding me of the popular bun at tim ho wan. However I wasn’t into the black pepper fillings. Good to try as its something different!
