Xmas Party for Kids 2014

Our 1st Christmas party was held at my place. Mainly for the children to gather and have fun.

The last minute potluck turned out to be very successful. Before my guest arrive, I only had cookies & log cake .

After they turned up, the table was filled with xmas feast.

Best friend B brought roast chicken, ham & strawberries. Glenn and his wife showed up with pork ribs, pork knuckle, tomatoes & pizzas. Agnes bought buffalo wings & meat balls. Amazing spread.

Leia was really looking forward to play with her friends.

Year after year, my friends and I watch our children playing and growing up together.

This year, we have two new additions. Baby Caleb & Baby Lucien. Both good-looking boys.

For the children, there were many things to be happy about. Being around each other, surrounded by toys in the playroom, laughing & giggling among themselves and presents!

Instead of drawing lots, Agnes suggested a race for presents.

Children loves running and they see it as a game. Leia gotten her xmas wish list, monopoly junior 🙂

It was a brilliant start for our christmas.

Polliwogs, Suntec

We went Polliwogs at Suntec. I like that there is indoor bouncy castle. Bret and I had some snacks and drinks at the cafe area as we watched our girl jumping & running around.

Didn’t take her long to find a playmate.  They were holding hands most of the time and exploring the indoor playground together.

When Leia comes to our table, the little boy would look for her. From what I observed, he is quite a fine gentleman with few words. He would reach out for Leia’s hand when she needs help in climbing. They have become a team in playing.

My girl didn’t want to go home as she clicked very well with the boy. But time’s up, Bret and I need to head elsewhere. Leia reluctantly bid farewell and off we go to look for outdoor furnitures.

About the indoor playground, it is not as spacious compared to Polliwogs at East Coast but kids will still have loads of fun.

Leia at Suntec

December is a festive month and its beginning to look like christmas when you visit the malls.

Took my parents & Leia to Suntec City.

We had very satisfying lunch at Crystal Jade Kitchen.  These days when we ask Leia where she wants to go, her typical reply “Toy R Us”.

I like the newly renovated mall. High shopping spirit.

One of the blesssed moment was having awesome neighbour. Leia received a xmas present from the kindest couple. We were told they went to three malls to look for pinkie pie plush toy. Appreciate deeply.

Being the season of giving, I had home-baked cupcakes & bodyshop gifts for them.

In the evening, we went over to their cozy place to hang out. Stayed till late night.

Thankful 🙂

Teatime at Medzs

The week before christmas, we went millenia walk to get festive goodies for his business associates. We settled at Medzs, a restaurant that works similarly to Marche. Heard a lot of raves about their rainbow cake so I ordered a slice to taste.

Its really beautiful to look at. Taste wise, Regent Hotel’s still the best. Leia requested for all-chocolate cake. Like her daddy, they only like chocolate.

Glad she did, the chocolate cake was sinfully yummy.
